News from Shihan Dan

You may be wondering what Shihan Dan has been up to in recent months. Well, apart from welcoming into the world his and Maureen's daughter Lara, Shihan Dan has been hard at work behind the scenes in Wu-Wei Dao, teaching senior grades, preparing syllabus updates and, most recently, producing a series of instructional videos and accompanying notes on a single CD-Rom.

The CD-Rom is still in its developmental stages and is the precursor to a professional production which will be available to Wu-Wei students and the general public. The videos cover a wide range of topics including Embu (2 person kata), qin-na (grappling) forms, Nunchaku, Bo, jo, Sai, Tonfa and Kama. The proposal is to eventually cover the entire syllabus.
